Surely Nige is missing the point here. There are no doubt that many solicitors have been convicted of criinal offences in the past, as have people from all sectors of society. What is important though is that post-conviction, they are rarely entitled to practise and are usually struck off. Clearly that isnt the case here and so the fact that he can provide unregulated advice with a criminal past remains a relevant fact. Perhaps all those criminal solicitors that he refers to will all become McKenzie friends now!!!
