I've never felt the need to comment on here but the slew of incredibly sexist and outdated responses has made it necessary.

To the people referring to having children as a "lifestyle choice" and suggesting that women cannot work and bring up a child - what exactly are the fathers of these children doing? It is possible - shock horror - that a father and his career may also be affected by having children.

It takes both sexes to have a child, it just so happens that the responsibility is unevenly carried by the woman in a lot of cases.

I am a woman who happens not to want children - the knowledge that I have almost certainly been discriminated against due to my age and sex (protected characteristics anyone? You lot are meant to be lawyers) frankly sickens me.
