Dennis, my comment was really aimed at SDT (sorry, not LS) and its attitude, not so much that of the client, although I thought that he too was somewhat oversensitive. What is really wrong with saying, if you genuinely believe it, that you think someone either does not have a good command of English, or does not understand the auction system?

And what is a'plonker' anyway, apart from a familiar term of endearment?

Those who regulate us, and many other regulators, seem too hasty to want to appear to be doing something about a complaint without first asking "is this really so serious as to require a hearing?", or would a letter of the ' don't do this again' variety suffice?
