Comment

I think the legal world has become less willing to accommodate people than it was when I started out in the law back in the 60s. Back then cases were adjourned for reasons personal to counsel. Examples are an adjournment so defence counsel could attend his father's funeral or an adjournment over Yom Kippur to accommodate one of the barristers. But then lawyers and judges could be a lot more understanding and money was not the all powerful consideration it is now.
