I disagree with this article and find it quote ridiculous in parts. Barrister's are self employed and can work when they like.
Women of children bearing age leave all sorts of professions or work part time and therefore don't reach the top of their profession as they choose to raise a family.

How long can you be the "have it all" generation of person? If you only want to work part time for whatever reason then most probably you won't be as good or qualified to make silk.

Simple as that. Any profession is the same. If I decide to be a body builder but only train "part time" to look after my kids and elderly parents then I am unlikely to be as good as a full time body builder.
