It's already happening anyway isn't it with ABS's?

Outside of London, many firms now employ a single solicitor or senior para-legal as head of department and everyone else in the department is a "legal administrator" - read unqualified and on minimum wage, and often kids straight from school. You only have to look at the job adverts for firms in Northern Cities such as Sheffield, Leeds, Manchester to see that Law for many is now a MINIMUM WAGE profession - £13.5Kpa.

I'm sorry to say this, but I blame those in charge of the profession. At the end of the day when you look at bodies such as the GMC they fight tooth and nail to preserve doctors rights. They actually got doctors wages doubled! You look at this profession, and it's everyone for themselves. No-one at the top seems to care what happens to those at the bottom or future generations, and many on the commercial side of the profession seemingly don't give a damn about the private client side, seeing them as low earning low life who bring the profession into disrepute through their public contact. Is it any wonder that the Government and law makers can degrade the profession in any way they want? They are completely unopposed thanks to the lack of unity in a profession where to many it's a case of I'm al-right Jack so I couldn't care what happens to the rest of you.
