The legal system must change if it wishes to be relevant in todays world. The whole system needs thorough pruning, solicitors are still of a mindset of 1p per word in documentation. A précis of the "relevant facts" only should be presented and the "Judge" should know his Law and be examined at least once every 2 years to keep him/her up to speed. The idea that cases could be made online is sound as long as those of my age who refuse to use a computer have help, from maybe aspiring future lawyers from the local schools as here in Moffat, who assist after school older people to become computer savvy. There should be penalties /restrictions on solicitors with verbal diarrhoea- basically Keep it Simple St***d
