I take a contrary view. I still believe that the vast majority do not automatically think "blame/claim" when something bad happens. The vast majority of my clients are only claiming because the injury has caused significant loss or injury and they almost feel forced to by the situation they are in.

Obviously I'm not a bulk RTA solicitor but even so the principle remains. Any claims where there is no blame are often dismissed without instructions being taken, so nobody else gets to know about them.

Of all the claim brought I'd love to know what proportion were absolute no-hopers from the start. Not many I suspect.

I also disagree that there is a compensation culture, other than the fictitious one created and perpetuated by the various insurance companies.
