You can never know what horrors can be lurking around the corner if you're specifically not allowed to look
History is read backwards and we are judged by outcome retrospectively in light of facts sometimes not known at time ( sounds familiar?)
Law is quite demanding enough when trying to ascertain the full picture let alone being restricted to a snapshot of information
How would a surgeon respond to a self- diagnosing patient who only wants him/her to do part of the operation because the patient is okay with the rest? A limitation of liability clause doesn't stop the disaster happening for the client.
