It seems the claimant ambulance chasers have killed the golden goose, it they'd collectively let PI claims via the MOJ portal reduce everybody would have accepted the LASPO changes had worked, as it is it now seems the Government is going to use it big stick to stop them in their tracks.

The amount of job losses this could cause is frightening, latest figures suggest the MOJ Portal was heading for 900K claims this year, say 90% are whiplash and each 500 claims involves 1 x claimant handler 1 x defendant handler that's over 3,000 case handlers no longer needed, then there's admin staff, team leaders, managers, investigators, claims management staff, medical experts etc, etc, That could amount to 5,000+ job losses across claimant & defendant firms/insurers?
