After all the understandable anger on this website there is an old political principle- don't get angry get even.

The point is that all this anger, resentment and frustration should be taken on board by the Law Society. as the only game in town in terms of our representation.

There needs to be an urgent SGM, so that the multiple attacks on our once revered justice system, and the integrity of our real estate system (with privatisation of the Land Registry), can be considered by a wide cross section of solicitors and an action plan agreed.

The Law Society, if it is to prevent itself becoming an irrelevance for many of its members, must now show real leadership.
