Let's not pretend that this will lead to any reduction in the average motor insurance policy.

Insurers have been the beneficiaries of the whole referral game for years, pre-LASPO when they were allowed and post-LASPO now some of them have gone down the ABS route.

So when the money they have been making from low value PI claims over the past couple of years goes the way of the dodo in 12-18 months time, what happens then?

They have this big black hole that needs to be filled by... that's right folks - increased motor premiums!
