Anonymous at 02.00pm-don't bet on it-I expect they will thrive at the expense of high street firms-they have the infrastructure in place to handle volumes on a DBA basis or even transferring the unissued part of their business into a non-law firm without the SRA regs/PII etc and take 40/50/60% of damages - and what is wrong with "factory" firms anyway-the portal and fixed costs are designed for firms that can deal with claims efficiently and by making full use of IT. I haven't seen many, if any, of these so called factory firms being the subject of disciplinary procedures or being sued by clients for poor service.
