If I thought that during my lifetime we could achieve a straight insolvency system, one where every director taking a company down would have to appear before a judge to decide whether that person was either bent or useless / unfortunate, I should be very happy. The bent would have limited liability stripped from them. Benter than the bentest miscreant however are the creatures of the insolvency system who scare poor unfortunates to death with their astronomical bills. This move is a help but someone really needs to clean out the augean stables. If everyone was responsible for their debt, the whole economy would be raised several notches.
