Nobody says how much tax litigation actually raises. The exchequer profits in more ways than just the court fees, for instance VAT on legal and expert's fees, VAT on claimant's bills, (which will get bad debt relief if not collected), CGT on damages, income tax on invested damages and lawyers' income, etc etc.

I am confident litigation already makes a healthy profit for the Crown, but they just don't tell anyone.
