Like the expression "bankers" you cannot judge everyone the same, so using "Solicitors" for this firm may usually refer to Admin, Paralegals, Trainees etc and av salaries fairly low. Please don't mock firms crumbling as the main job losses are from 100s of lower level positions and anyone higher up, or with money, or with Intelligence or all 3 will be long gone, or going.
