I feel sorry for any of the S&G staff who are decent hardworking people who are going to get shafted if the company goes into administration.

I'm not sure it's fair to say that the staff went in with their eyes open. Take the staff at Fentons - that firm was simply acquired. What choice did those people have? Yes, they could have looked for alternative employment, but Raynor Goddard makes it sound as though they could simply walk out of one office and straight into another.
