ANON @3.08 the mainstream media are not in the pocket of 'the Establishment'. The MSM are simply trying to fill space and will take any old press release, add in a few words and put it out as copy from a 'staff reporter' or under the name of a reporter.

It's known as 'churnalism' and it's a very easy game to get involved with, I've had numerous pieces published for clients like this and if you've got good relationships with the editors it's relatively easy to get more meat on the bones of the client's press release. A perfect example of this is on the front page of this publication 'robot lawyers'.

The insurers know this and have slick and well resourced PR departments to do this, TLS, MASS & APIL either don't know how to play the game or simply can't be bothered.
