To the lemmings above who are supporting these ridiculous proposals put forward by Mr Osborne...what you need to worry about is not even related to the legal profession, insurance fraud or access to justice. It is the fact that the present government are making changes that do not make sense, without consultation (or valid comprehensive consultation including all parties) and most importantly without evidence (because all of the evidence actually contradicts the changes they are making), which will affect most people in the UK. Somebody once said "A basic tenet of healthy democracy is open dialogue and transparency..." Good luck finding any of that amongst what is going on with this government at the moment! But the silver lining is you will all save £50 on your car insurance... I think you are more to see a flying Meerkat!!
