We are a profession and an honourable one no matter what anyone else says. I applaud the vast majority of our members - they put the needs of clients first and feel indignant when
a) the media gleefully suggest otherwise
b) our professional body (or the bit of it hived off - the bit which gets most of our practising fee) suggests otherwise
c) a few of our number let us down by behaving badly, acting pompously, being dishonest - the quicker they are drummed out the better
