As I have been saying for many years, the Law Society should just be shot (metaphorically at least). They are far worse than useless and a positive hindrance to their members by whom they are paid to exist - quite unbelievable really. I cannot imagine any legal system in the whole of the rest of the civilised world which would accept this situation. Only sadomasochists are usually prepared to pay to be treated so badly!

As someone above correctly says, the strongest method of objection to just about ANYTHING by our leaders in TLS is that they are 'troubled' by it! I am quite certain that if a law arose whereby every Solicitor with black hair was to be fined £50K automatically, our leaders in TLS would merely be 'troubled' by such a ludicrous provision.

It seems that not only do they have no teeth, but their gums are also wearing very thin. They really are a joke! - and we're the idiots who put up with them and that only because we are forced to belong to this crazy club by law in order to (try to) earn a reasonable living for ourselves as solicitors in general practice.
