I would like to see a direct access barrister trying to deal day-to-day with your average belligerent personal injury client; one whom rings for an update on the progress of their case every other hour and emails even more frequently than that, whom persistently complains about the perceived lack of effort and 'fighting for them' that their unrealistic expectations command, and whom will attach significance to the slightest of misunderstood communications in order to later facilitate a complaint to the regulator.
