A very interesting and well informed post, Tom. I fully accept that we are about to step into the unknown if we vote to leave. But a vote to stay is little better as we shall be mistreated either way as a result of all this. "Hell hath no fury like a European scorned".

And to think all this has become a Tory manifesto issue at the behest of Nigel Farage... And now I read the Tories may have overspent in Thanet South....

But I am not one for not doing what I believe to be correct because I fear some adverse consequences. There will be blood, but so be it.

And today I attended a meeting of the trustees, of whom I am one, of a SLA settlement of a country estate. It came to light that one of our milk producing farmer tenants is paid a mere 17P per litre! And have you noticed all those bright yellow, rape fields up and down the country? All that is down to the CAP. How long do we have to put up with this madness?
