Here’s an idea. Let’s means test Tory politicians. Any whose income from sources other than parliamentary salary amounts to more than £50,000 per year after tax, shall forfeit their parliamentary salary. Just for a change, I’d like to see some Tory pips squeak. If this deters them from a Commons gig, well so much the better for the rest of the country.
