How on earth are PI and clinical negligence firms going to fund an issue fee of £10k and a probate fee of £20k but why should they have to? And how on earth are probate solicitors going to fund the probate fee, whatever it may be up to the £20k, for the many new matters that they start each week. Even a smallish high street firm in an area with high property prices would need at least a half million pound overdraft facility and imagine the amount of interest they would pay each year.
