I must say as a victim of an abusing female I do take offence to articles which start by referring to domestic violence as men to women. Yes I know very much we are in a minority but I would challenge anyone to want to swap places with me whilst I lived in a relationship that was a living hell. Violence and abuse were commonplace. But guess what?
Eventually she called the Police, lied through her teeth and got a Restraining Order against me because the hopeless local Police Force could not grasp the principle of a woman being violent towards a man. And the CPS proved themselves to be a laughing stock when it came to professionally reviewing the situation.
So until professionals are properly trained and encouraged to accept the principle of violence and abuse by females towards their partners the Law can never be seen to be equal or fair to all parties.
