This begs the request for F&BPs as to what "career development" these members of the Judging profession had in mind? Having got one cheek on the Bench, one could expect the honest reply that they would like both cheeks on it. But the way the piece is drawn, one might be advised that the judiciary were looking forward to honing their forensic cross-examining skills or, even, Origami....anything but their judicial ability.
Odd, isn't it, that these old coves are given the job knowing its job-description and then want to do anything but undertake the job they applied for.
