Michael, I think that with every passing day something more happens to reinforce the Brexit argument. Take, for example, the tampon tax which Brussels will not allow us to reduce to 0%. Then Turkey wants its citizens to have unrestricted access to Schengen member countries, the list just goes on and on...

And Anon 10.03, yes, I agree, we go for the best, but are Siemens, Mercedes and Volvos better than what we do, or could, make given the chance? I have to admit that I don't know, although I have also to admit that I now drive a Volvo estate and prior to that always had Mercedes...but I am toying with a Jaguar, although my best friend had trouble with his.
