Bearing in mind the amount of debt youngsters have already incurred these days, is there genuinely any prospect of recovering that sum? What really is the point of making such an order?

I recognise that this is an unfair comment without knowing the full story. However, I'd also question whether the SRA should not at least have demanded an explanation of DLA Piper as to how they run their affairs. Have they have a corporate culture that contributed to this catastrophe? If so, should the SRA not have castigated them in some way for that contribution?
