John, it proves that the plural of anecdote is not evidence and yes, this applies to the insurers as well.

Insurers have had about a year to plead fundamental dishonesty and run the matter to trial: perhaps the ABI could release figures to show the number of cases where they pleaded FD and how many cases then proceeded to a hearing and how many were defeated.

I do not expect to see any figures soon.
