Well I have read through the judgment and while hindsight is wonderful, quite frankly the 'seller's' conveyancer's checks were not good enough. Yes, they were rail roaded into completing a transaction by a pushy client- we have all been there but there were red flags that a more experienced conveyancer or at least a more skeptical conveyancer would have queried.

I don't agree with the 50-50 split- 100% on ACC in my view otherwise we will have to start verifying the ID of both parties or swapping AML results, passports etc.
