I don't this this is news. Lord Faulks could hardly say anything else could he? He couldn't deviate from the Autumn statement before there was even a Consultation on the issue.
If there is to be a deviation it will be after the Government has considered the wealth of evidence that will correctly depict what a shabby, corrupt, unintelligent proposal this is.
I mean, how can Faulks say with a straight face this will protect consumers when the policy will deny the 98% of of injured consumers who have genuine cases a claim for general damages?
