Which, Richard, leads to the obvious conclusion that the remedy the government seeks is not being deployed to cure the problem. Because in reality there is no endemic problem

All the government are doing, they are doing presumably for the benefit of the insurance companies who fund them.

And as regard the fraud that does occur other steps must be taken rather than destroying this chunk of law and thus threatening the rule of law itself.

Which bitgoes next. Judicial review in its entirety? Perhaps the government doesn't like that either

The cynic in me suggests that pro rata there seem to be far more MPs indulging in fraudulent scams than motorists making fake whiplash claims.

It seems perfectly clear that the government's arguments themselves are fundamentally dishonest. did that Minister the other day truly believe what he said.

If he did he is an idiot. If he didn't , he is fundamentally dishonest. which is it, Minister?

I simply don't believe that this is going to happen but despite all the essential efforts of my colleagues, I'm afraid I can't see it being stopped.

it will come in exactly the same as did wacko Jacko, LASPO and the loss of the ability to rely on European regulations to ground a workplace claim, and all the nonsense surrounding case management.

All there to prevent us doing our jobs, and representing our clients.
