"Hmmm... the lay applicant didn't serve the bundle on the other side because the court order didn't tell them to do so. Understandable, but still a bit of a bother and rather unfair to the respondent. No wonder they didn't serve it though if we didn't tell them to. Whoops! Still, we can't have them blaming the court now can we?

Ah, a tangential mention of a solicitor who might once have had sight of some of the papers - probably put the bundle together for them or something. Let's lay the blame on them. They'll have PII that can pick up the tab and it'll get this pesky matter out of my list. Litigants in person are soooo tiresome".
