There continues to be a vacuum in the development of jurisprudence, which is being partially filled by judges tasked with turning our legal system not into a lawyer free, but a low cost and justice free zone.

Intellectually barren is the already discredited idea of unbundling legal services and we have already had a recent decision holding a solicitor culpable in his attempt at "unbundling".

The sense of barrels being scraped is palpable, and solicitors not involved with litigation may think that this topic has no bearing on them, but the relentless mauling of the Rule of Law, will eventually damage us all.
