I know a bit more about this case than is listed above (or perhaps the judge knew). All I can say is that if I had been sitting, May would not have got the amount he did let alone the amount he claimed and I would seriously have considered a vexatious litigant charge. If you actually knew how many briefs from how many different counsel he was attempting to claim for .... well. lets just say some of the comments above would be tempered or reversed. And that's before you consider he had already agreed a settlement.
