"Is it harassment and therefore discrimination to make a female employee work on a rape case? Or a male employee act for a woman asking for leave to take "her" children (those of herself and her ex-husband) abroad?"

Why?

But isn't it also foolish, and a breach of one's duty to one's client to assign to their case somebody who was so out of sympathy with them that they won't do the job properly


"Can we even keep an employee on who campaigns for the BNP?"

Much though I detest the BNP, wouldn't it be unfair dismissal to sack someone for joining a political party one didn't approve of? And, while we're still party to it, wouldn't the ECHR have some bearing on this?
