But isn't it the case that although mediation can be helpful, it costs money and takes time and is manna from heaven for someone who is determined not to pay. I want to be able to sue in the High Court and get before a Master in the QB who can see a useless defence and give judgment accordingly. What's more I want to do it for debts over £5000. I used to do this when I started in the law and it all worked swimmingly. The Judiciary have lost the will to live or to sort things out and the clowns who think it can all be done online have literally no idea that people will start enforcing their debts using extra judicial tactics instead, if they can't get before a Judge. Jackson LJJ has cottoned on to this rather important fact. Interesting that HMRC have as well. They just take the money you owe out of your bank account. It's called big people hitting little people over the head with a baseball bat and Henry II set up the courts to prevent the lawlessness that such ludicrous abrogation of government responsibilities will now lead to.
