I couldn't agree more Simon. It's pathetic the way most (D)DJ's behave. I wonder, I really do, where they get them from.

It is simply too much trouble or they are too lazy to list cases for hearing. They can deal with everything really or I could i na short hour and a half pre hearing meeting. That would go for re-pleading the case even and really, all then that is required is a bundle of documents in date order with orders at the front and then those pleadings and the documents.

That is not beyond the wit of a reasonably bright Judge to arrange.

And this idea of playing around with witness statements and whether the are written on the right vellum or stapled the right distance in is prick-worthy contempt for the Rule of Law.

I wonder if it's because there are just too many Barristers and too few Solicitors doing (D) DJ work .....
