@Anon - except there is authority that where a solicitor tries to serve something on another solicitor by fax, but that solicitor has turned off his fax machine, then the time is extended because service has become impossible through no fault of the server.

If the LiP turns up when the court is open, and the court refuses to let him in, then the court surely has interfered with the LiP's rights.

After all, when is "too late"? Half-an-hour before? The morning of the last day? The day before?
