I would imagine a lot of the architects of the Quindell deal have moved on. I remember at the time a considerable number of commentators scratching their collective heads trying to figure out why on earth S&G pursued this purchase. I am still trying to fathom it out. The shareholders have lost out terribly. For me the real issue (once the balance sheet has been written down) is whether the underlying business is profitable or not. I'm unsure whether client's are put off by this sort of giant firm or not.
