Who could have forseen that massively cutting budgets, staff and services would led to poorer services and longer delays...!?

My local court now reglarly has a single clerk/ usher tryingto cover several floors, making it difficult to sign in, issuing proceedings is much slower and the number of errors has increased. (I have this morning received a consent order returned by our 'local' divorce hib on the basis that the timescale we providd for a transfer has passed. It hadn't passed 6 weeks ago when we filed the order : / )

our 'hub' has speeded up from it's abysmal beginnings but is still significantly slower than hen we were allowed to issue divorces at the local county court, and it is near impossible to get to speak to them by telephoneto try to resolve issues. (I had a spate of cases where they were failing to send acknowledgments on to us, but were simply sticking them on their file, for instance.

It must be even more demoralising for the staff themselves than it is for us.
