We hurriedly agree half the costs and e mailed the court to say the costs issue was agreed. The other side phoned and e mailed the court to confirm agreement and very clearly marked it URGENT for the hearing next day.Then we got a standard email saying they would deal with it within 10 days. The DJ was never given the e mails or made aware that the costs had been agreed. He made an Order for all the costs to be paid by the Respondent. What do I do now?These repeated muck ups are costing us and our clients money unnecessarily and unfairly and disproportionately. Can we get a costs order against the court? No.
