Josephine, you need to remember that contracts for the sale of property (land) are indeed repetitive - the nature of the property doesn't change from one transaction to the next, which is why we have standard contract conditions. Indeed, all that is usually required is the names of the parties and the address of the flat. The important documents are those created in the run up to the contract, including any service or similar agreement. The contract is a prime example of something which ain't broke so doesn't need fixing.
