GREAT NEWS first of all.

I will acknowledge that there are many genuine and good practicing firms out there that unfortunately (I mean that) are going to unfairly feel the brunt of these changes.

However, it is the actions of not that few that have undoubtedly started the domino effect of this action.

I in fact recently left a firm of Solicitors who quite happily and knowingly took on cases where Claimant's had been farmed, exaggerated injuries and where some of these Claimants felt so intimidated by the bombardment of calls that they felt pressured into claiming. As a result, I jumped over to the Defendant side for my own moral reasoning.

The fact that there are so many firms out there that are complicit in not necessarily made up accidents, but are quite party to racking up imaginary treatment costs, hire charges when they never existed and the amazing ability to store hundreds of vehicles it seems in a space the size of a Smart Car.

Claimant Solicitors, cry, whine, whinge all you want but having been part of that side of things for some time you have reaped the benefits for years and only recently have you felt questioned.

You can argue all you want about the rights of individuals and access to justice, however it is the actions of the greedy that has started this process off and you only have yourselves to blame. Ironic that all of a sudden you take your moral high ground and fight for the people arguments when it will affect your costs.

I personally couldn't care less whether I receive a £40.00 reduction in my premiums, its the practice itself which is disturbing and I welcome these changes.

Enjoy it while it lasts as hopefully your reign will be short lived going forward.
