Listening to the Chancellor this p.m. I note that the mention of the 'reforms' was with regard to legislation . . . also the increase in IPT to 12% is substantially incongruous with the intention of the 'reforms' to reduce premium levels.

In respect of the 'consultation' I ad wondered if it was so badly written / constructed so as to allow for a successful judicial review and this latest admission hasn't dampened that cynicism.

Remember this is the time to participate in A2J sterling work and also join the Tories (if you have a Tory MP) and campaign against this from the inside (with the explicit threat of deselection if the MP doesn't oppose the reforms).
