If insurance really is such a scam as the factory whiplash CMC handlers / portal pushers / etc on here keep saying, with trillions of pounds of profit, why not club together and set up an insurer? All you'd need to do, if you are right, is simply resign yourselves to accepting only 70% profit margins instead of 80% and you'd be the cheapest in the market and have full market share within a year.
