I take it these complete and utter numpties are totally unaware of Outcome 1.13 of the Code of Conduct: "clients receive the best possible information, both at the time of engagement and when appropriate as their matter progresses, about the likely overall cost of their matter". Just one of the many things we already tell clients in a client care letter that now inevitably runs to umpteen pages.
