As I have always said, and say again, the Law Society does not give a damn about ordinary solicitors and never really has done. 30 years ago that did not matter much - it does now!

To compare city slick lawyers with your average high street practice is like trying to compare chalk with cheese. One size definitely does not fit all. The upper echelons at the Law Society are only interested in lining their own pockets and looking after their wealthy city friends. That is all.

In the 21st century, High street solicitors most definitely need a proper 'Union' to look after their interests and the Law Society as it stands is simply not it and must be disbanded as soon as possible for all their sakes.
