This is fascinating stuff. So the survey got 64000 solicitors to talk to them. Surveys get the following response from me. Foxtrot Oscar and that includes the people who want me to ask my people what their gender assignment is. I'm not saying that this survey is meaningless, but for the majority of the profession, which means those who have not sold themselves into slavery in the city, the idea that people don't get on because they have a working class accent or like Coronation Street is laughable. The only things that really count are do you know your stuff, do you care what happens to your client and can you bill properly. Those who can do all three things do fine. I really don't believe that that depends upon which public school you went to. I don't know which schools my solicitors went to and I don't want or need to.
